Who are you and what do you do in Beloved?
My name is Josh Moore and I sing and play guitar in the band.

For those who've never heard Beloved, what do you sound like?
I would say we are a melodic hardcore band with alot of singing. Just fun stuff.

How did Beloved come about?
Most of us have been friends going back as far as elementary school, and we have been playing in different little bands since we got our first guitars for Christmas and stuff. I guess Beloved just started like any other band; just a bunch of friends who share the same musical interest and who love hanging out with each other, getting together and playing at someones house.

What do you hope to accomplish with your music?
We hope to make beautiful music that conveys the things that inspire us in life and also the things that hurt us. Just getting to share with people the loves that are in our lives, be it God, or friends, or girls, or whatever. I think music is so powerful, and helps us out so much when we are alone and have nothing but a mind full of problems. Hopefully someone listening to our music will be able to relate to our lyrics and get something out of it that will help them or at least shed light on something that they are going through. Just getting to talk to people at shows and online, and making so many friends all over the country is so amazing, and totally a big thing that we have been able to accomplish through our music.

What bands do you listen to and which influence you the most?
We all listen to a variety of music. We all love slow, melodic sing along stuff, but alot of the time we are riding around in our cars listening to Converge or something. It just depends on what day you catch us.

What do you and the other members do when you aren't involved with Beloved?
We all have jobs at home. Dusty, Matt and I all work at this grocery store, and the other two work at a car wash. Matt is actually my boss, and Dusty works in produce. We just goof off alot, and call each other over the intercom and stuff. Our store probably s us because we all ask off the same months at a time. Besides that, we go to shows and hang out together when we can.

When does the CD come out?
The new EP "the Running" comes out OCT. 7th on Vindicated Records, and will be available through mail order from www.vindicatedrecords.com.

What bands would you like to tour with in the future?
We would love to tour with bands like thursday, boysetsfire, further seems forever, skycamefalling, way to many bands to name. We are trying to set up stuff right now with some really good North Carolina bands like hopesfall and between the buried and me. The bands that we have gotten a chance to tour with, like coolhandluke and Luti-Kriss, have been the most amazing guys to be with and we hope to go back out with them again in the future too.
